Welcome to my Magicka Arcanist PVE Build for ESO! Yidhra is a powerful Staff DPS Build for PVE Gameplay! The Arcanist is a Class of Eldritch Horror, that relies on Magic Damage and the Crux system to destroy its enemies! It can deal massive damage to single targets but also groups of enemies thanks to its powerful abilities. A flexible Class with strong offensive skills that use your primary resource. Yidhra is a DPS Build that is offering different setups, depending on the difficulty of the content. A more traditional Magicka Arcanist PVE Build that is using two Staves as its weapons and a combination of Arcanist Class skills and other Damage over Time abilities to clear almost every PVE content in The Elder Scrolls Online. Magicka Arcanist PVE Build Setup

The Build offers different setups, depending on the difficulty of the content you wish to complete! Based on the content you are trying to clear you should change your gear based on the recommendations below!

Trials Group DPS

This setup is for dedicated group gameplay, is using Trial gear and it aims to achieve the best damage possible. The goal of this setup is to help you clear harder PVE content, like Trials and Dungeons. You can use it in easier content if you wish. Whorl of the Depths and Deadly Strike is the core Set combo of the Build. TheVelothi Amulet Mythic Itemis an amazing Set for Arcanist Builds and to maximize its potential we combine it with one Piece of theSlimecraw Monster Set! To complete the Setup, equip Crushing Wall on your back bar.

No Trial Gear

TheNo-Trial Gear setupis meant foreasier Solobut also easierGroup PVE Gameplay. You can wear this setup if you are planning to play Overland content(Public Dungeons, World Bosses) or clear normal Dungeons. This setup is not strong enough to survive Solo Arenas like theMaelstrom Arena,Vateshran HollowsandInfinite Archive.For this purpose you should use a dedicatedSolo PVE Arcanist Build. To create a strong No Trial gear Setup all you have to do is replaceWhorl of the DepthswithOrder’s Wrath. You can also use a full monster set instead of theVelothi AmuletMythic Set.Kjalnar’s Nightmareis a great option.

Skills for Magicka Arcanist PVE Build ESO

The Build is using a combination of Crux generating and consuming abilities to boost your damage and maximize your potential. The goal of the Build is to generate Crux withCephaliarch’s Flail, then consume it withPragmatic Fatecarverin order to deal massive damage to enemies with your powerful Beam! The Arcanist is a powerfulDPS Class in ESO, with several strong offensive and defensive abilities. To maximize your potential you can also use the Magical Soul Scribing Skill.

• Degeneration(Entropy): Strong DoT ability.
• Cephaliarch’s Flail(Abyssal Impact): Deal damage, heals you and generates Crux.
• Pragmatic Fatecarver(Fatecarver): Consumes Crux and deals massive damage to enemies. Also protects you with a shield.
• Barbed Trap(Trap Beast): Very good DOT damage and a boost to Critical Damage.
• Inspired Scholarship(Tome-Bearer’s Inspiration): Deals damage and buffs you.
• Flawless Dawnbreaker(Dawnbreaker): Deals damage but also buffs you actively and passively.
• Unstable Wall of Elements(Wall of Elements): Great AOE damage skill.
• Fulminating Rune(The Imperfect Ring): Strong DoT ability that also provides a synergy.
• Magical Soul: Magic Damage+Lingering Torment+Breach
• Runeguard of Freedom(Runic Defense): Defensive skill that also heals you.
• Spell Symmetry(Equilibrium): Restores Magicka.
• The Tide King’s Gaze(The Unblinking Eye): Powerful Ultimate.

Below you will find the best Champion Points setup for the Build.When allocating Champion points to Slottable and Passive Stars your primary goal is to create paths! Allocate the minimum required points to stars along your path in order to reach your desired Slottable Stars faster.Once you have unlocked all Stars, start allocating more Champion Points to them to fill them out. Race

The Best Race for the Magicka Arcanist PVE Build in ESO is High Elf. Dark Elf, Khajiit and Breton are nice alternative Races you can use for a DPS focused Build. Any Race with Magicka bonuses can work well though. You can find more about the playable races in my ESO Race Guide!

Vampire or Werewolf

Neither is necessary.

Rotation for Magicka Arcanist PVE Build ESO

This is a dynamic rotation, that generates Crux in order to boost your damage with your powerful spammable! Buff yourself with Inspired Scholarship, Runeguard of Freedom and place Barbed Trap. Attack with Unstable Wall of Elements, Fulminating Rune, Magical Soul. Switch bars, attack with Degeneration and generate Crux withCephaliarch’s Flail. When you have the maximum number of Crux, which is three, attack withPragmatic Fatecarverfor massive damage! Keep generating Crux and attacking withPragmatic Fatecarverevery time you have the maximum number. Refresh the other abilities when necessary. Restore Magicka withSpell Symmetryand use yourUltimatewhen ready!

If you wish to play Solo with theMagicka Arcanist Build, you can bring along a mighty Companion! Companions in ESO are helpful allies that can assist you in combat. Every Companion can fulfill every role in the game and help you enjoy ESO more by clearing content faster or by simply interacting with them and their charming personality!
