The Small and Midsize Sales Team is looking for an Account Representative. Our team is focused on selling SAS software to the education, healthcare, and life sciences industries across the U.S.

As An SMB Account Representative, You Will

• Discover, qualify and close sales opportunities through cold calling and email execution.
• Maintain and expand relationships within existing customers to keep customers informed on new products and to increase SAS usage throughout an organization.
• Retain renewals within existing accounts.
• Work with relevant resources throughout SAS that are part of your extended sales team.
• Help drive business through our channels.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2 - 5 years of full-time experience in prospecting and/or sales.
• Knowledge of hardware and software acquisition cycles and buying influences.
• Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly establish and build relationships with customers; ability to communicate technical and business concepts via phone and relate them to SAS system applications and user needs.
• Ability to analyze and evaluate territory dynamics, develop a sales plan, and accurately forecast sales.
• Self-driven, organized, strong time management skills.
