@dmodjr I'm also currently down the rabbit hole of figuring out why Spanx sold to private equity. Those acquisitions rarely work out; the acquired firm is nearly always sold off for parts to cover debt (just like the big TWC acquisition years ago, and then the digital went to IBM).

@Ask_Spectrum I do not yet have an account number, as I can’t set up an account until my ex-husband’s service ends, even though he has already called to establish the discontinuation date. Dealing with you guys has been worse and more complicated than divorce court. Jeez.

@b_porcaro @GetSpectrum My bill upped for the 4th time this year last month. As a 20 yr customer, I called to see what could be done. They asked what part of my package I was willing to "sacrifice". I could give my last cable box back,but that'd defeat the purpose of having cable.

@Ask_Spectrum I'll note that Spectrum (you) responded immediately, and the NWS hasn't picked up on the original tweet. I only tagged Spectrum because that's the service I receive the alerts on - as you confirm, I thought the original material comes through NWS. Hope they fix the audio.

@Ask_Spectrum Oh, I didn't figure Spectrum had control over that - I did go back to my Roku homepage and restarted Spectrum, but it was still drillin'Seems like an important service, but the audio ideally would be clear, not unintelligible fuzz. I'm assuming the NWS is the source?

@Ask_Spectrum Nah, She's already watching antenna TV, using her phone as a hotspot to pay bills until Spectrum can figure out their issue(s). Ha! This and pushing to bundle services so they ALL go out at once. NO THANKS!

@GetSpectrum is crazy. "Due to COVID, there will be a $60 charge if the technician brings the equipment to install." Due to COVID? The tech is already gonna be here to do the install. How is bringing the equipment, too, a virus problem, and what's the $60 gonna do different?
